HarGhar Tiranga 13-15 August
Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM), Mumbai had organized “Har Ghar Tiranga” a campaign under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence” on 10th August, 2022 in the institute seminar hall. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
The seminar began with the singing of the National Anthem followed by dignitaries lighting of the lamp and paying their tribute to Shri. Lala Lajpatraiji. The dignitaries of the inaugural session consisted of Dr. Kamalji Gupta, Chairman, LLIM, Dr. Ghanshyam Mhatre – Chief Guest, Dr. V. B. Angadi – Director LLIM, Dr. C. Satyanarayana- Director LLIM, Dr. Asha Aggarwal- Student Counsellor. & Dr. Suresh Suvarna – HOD Career and Guidance Cell.
The Anchoring was done by Kapil Sharma and Simrat Kaur (Placement Committee). They extended a warm welcome to the Dignitaries and introduced the Chief Guest Dr. Ghanshyam Mhatre to the audience. The Chief Guest was felicitated by Dr. Satyanarayana – Director.
A video about “Har Ghar Tiranga” to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag was shown to the audience.
In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest – Dr. Ghanshyam Mhatre highlighted the audiences with his motivational talks on different aspects of life and told the students to concentrate on their careers rather than jobs.
Dr. V.B. Angadi in his speech highlighted the campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga” and informed the audience the importance of hoisting the flags.
This was followed by distribution of flags by the Chief Guest – Dr. Ghanshyam Mhatre to the faculty’s and the students.
The campaign ended with a very beautiful patriotic song “Mere Waton ke Logo” sung by our student Aishwarya Wande and a quiz contest organised by the student committee which was based on the importance of Independence Day.
The seminar was well attended by nearly 120 students and faculties. The valedictory session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Satyanarayana.
