Description
| Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM) proudly participated for the first time in the GOER® – Game of Enterprise Risk® Competition 2026, a prestigious national-level business simulation organized by IRM India in association with HDFC Mutual Fund and Mahindra University, Hyderabad. The competition attracted participation from 61 universities across India at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, bringing together some of the country’s leading management institutions. Representing the postgraduate category, LLIM competed against top B-schools and demonstrated exceptional analytical and strategic capabilities throughout the event. The competition comprised two online qualifying rounds, during which teams were evaluated on their ability to manage complex enterprise risk scenarios and make strategic business decisions. Through outstanding performance, the LLIM team secured a place among the top 10 finalists in the Postgraduate category, earning an impressive 4th position in the qualification rankings. The finalist team travelled to Mahindra University, Hyderabad, arriving on 19 June 2026, where the Grand Finale was conducted on 20 June 2026. The final round featured an intensive business simulation focused on enterprise risk management, requiring participants to identify, assess, and respond to evolving business challenges in a competitive environment.
Although LLIM did not secure the final title, participating in the national finale against premier postgraduate institutions was a significant achievement. The competition provided students with valuable exposure to practical risk management concepts, strategic decision-making, and simulation-based learning beyond the classroom. The experience also enabled students to interact with industry experts and peers from renowned institutions, fostering professional networking and collaborative learning. The event enhanced their leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while reinforcing the importance of applying theoretical knowledge to real-world business situations. LLIM’s successful journey to the national finals reflects the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and experiential learning. The participation has inspired students to pursue higher standards of performance and strengthened the institute’s presence in national-level management competitions.
