Description

 

The Induction Programme commenced on 22nd September 2026 with the formal inauguration ceremony.

The event commenced with the registration of the incoming students, followed by the National Anthem and Rajya Geet, which set a patriotic and respectful tone for the day. The formal introduction to the institute was provided and the traditional Lighting of the Lamp Ceremony was conducted to mark the auspicious beginning of the new academic journey.

Dr. Kamalji Gupta, Chairman, delivered a warm welcome address after being felicitated.

Address by Chief Guest – Ms. Ambika Singh

She spoke about the forthcoming academic session and motivated the students to approach their management education with commitment, enthusiasm and a positive mindset.

She emphasised the importance of making effective use of the opportunities available at the Institute and encouraged students to develop themselves academically, professionally and personally.

The Director, Dr. H. J. Bhasin, also addressed the students, emphasizing the values and culture of the institute, followed by the COO, Mr. Rajeev Gupta, and Student Counsellor, Dr. Asha Agarwal.

 

 

 

 

 

Cultural Programme

The second half of the inaugural day featured a cultural programme. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their talent and creativity.

The cultural programme provided an opportunity for students to interact with one another and helped create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for the new batch.

Awareness and Student Development Sessions

Drug Abuse Awareness, Prevention and Responsible Choices

The session conducted by Mr. Rohan Barkate focused on creating awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse. Students were encouraged to make responsible choices and understand the personal, social and professional consequences of substance abuse.

The session contributed towards developing awareness, responsible behaviour and a healthy campus environment.

Alumni Connect

The Alumni Connect session by Mr. Farhan Ahmed highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong connection between students and alumni.

The session helped students understand the value of professional networking, mentorship, industry exposure and learning from the experiences of alumni.

POSH Awareness

Ms. Lakshmi Rai conducted an awareness session on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH).

The session sensitised students to the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. It also highlighted appropriate professional behaviour and the importance of dignity and respect in educational and workplace settings.

 

Academic and Departmental Orientation

As part of the Induction Programme, students were introduced to the various academic departments and faculty members of the Institute.

The following departments were covered:

  • Finance Department
  • Human Resources Department
  • Marketing Department
  • Operations Department

The faculty introduction sessions enabled students to familiarise themselves with the faculty members, their respective academic areas and the learning environment at the Institute.

An interactive HR Activity was also conducted to encourage participation, teamwork and student interaction.

Placement Cell and Career Orientation

A dedicated component of the Induction Programme focused on career development and placement preparedness.

The Placement Cell and Digi Team were introduced to the students, followed by a detailed Placement Presentation.

Students were briefed about:

  • The role and functioning of the Placement Cell.
  • Placement processes and procedures.
  • Corporate expectations.
  • Employability skills.
  • Recruitment preparation.
  • Importance of participation in placement activities.
  • Career development and professional grooming.
  • Industry interaction and training opportunities.

Students were encouraged to take responsibility for their own career development and to actively participate in all placement-related activities throughout the academic year.

Industry and Training Partner Sessions

The Induction Programme also provided students with exposure to external training and career-development organisations.

Knowledge Mould

Dr. Regan Homavazir from Knowledge Mould interacted with the students and provided insights into career development, professional skills and employability.

Vikalp Education

Mr. Rishi Chourasia from Vikalp Education addressed the students on career preparation and the skills required to improve their readiness for recruitment opportunities.

EduEdge

Mr. Harjeet Singh from EduEdge interacted with students and provided inputs on professional preparedness and career development.These sessions helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and corporate expectations.The session familiarised students with the initiative and encouraged them to actively participate in activities beyond the regular classroom environment.
