Description: “One Helmet, One Life” is an event with a mission—to raise awareness about the critical importance of wearing helmets while riding motorcycles and to distribute free helmets sponsored by STEELBIRD helmets. The remarkable event, “One Helmet, One Life” organized by the Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM) in collaboration with esteemed NGO, United Ways. This initiative was a testament to the power of collective efforts and community engagement in promoting road safety and saving lives. It began with students having 2 wheeler driving license registering for the event. On 23-10-2023, the event featured various activities, including:
1. Educational Workshops: Road safety workshops will be conducted to educate the community about the significance of helmet usage and safe riding practices. The Experts from United Ways were present to address questions and provide valuable insights.
2. Interactive Demonstrations: Live demonstrations on the importance of wearing helmets was a part of the event, emphasizing the role of helmets in saving lives during accidents.
3. Community Engagement: “One Helmet, One Life” encourages community participation in spreading the message of road safety. It’s an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and make a positive impact.
4. Helmet Distribution: LLIM and United Ways have come together to provide high-quality helmets to underprivileged individuals who are at a higher risk of road accidents. This initiative aims to protect lives by ensuring that every rider has access to a proper helmet.
5. Partnerships: The event showcased the power of collaboration between United Ways and LLIM, underlining their commitment to making the roads safer for everyone.

“One Helmet, One Life” is a life-saving initiative and with the help of our support, can make a significant difference in creating a safer environment for all road users. It is hoped that together we can make a positive change and ensure that “One Helmet, One Life” becomes a reality.
“The response was excellent, around 130 students were beneficiaries of this “Free Helmet”.
