Description

 

The Marketing Department of Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management successfully conducted the Battle of Brands competition for MMS II students on 26th July, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and high levels of energy and creativity among the students.

The competition was structured around various brand-centric rounds designed to stimulate students’ awareness and understanding of brands and their positioning in the market. The key rounds included:

·  Logo Quiz: Participants were shown logos (some altered) and had to correctly identify the brand.

·  Guess the Jingle: Short audio clips of famous brand jingles were played, and participants had to guess the brand.

·  Identify the Brand by Video: Popular advertisement videos were shown with branding elements hidden, and students had to name the brand.

·  Spin the Wheel: Participants spun a virtual wheel that landed on different brand categories (FMCG, Automobile, Tech, Fashion, etc.), and had to name a brand related to the given category within a time limit.

·  Director’s Round: The final and most exciting round was conducted by our respected Director – Dr. H.J. Bhasin, where he personally gave specific / niche sectors and students were challenged to name relevant brands from that sector on the spot. This round added a high level of engagement and surprise element, encouraging spontaneous thinking and quick recall.

Prizes were distributed to recognize and appreciate the efforts of the winners and active participants.
