As part of the nationwide initiative “Har Ghar Tiranga” and in the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management celebrated a week-long campaign with various academic, cultural, and awareness activities. The celebration aimed to instil patriotism, create awareness about civic responsibilities, and engage students, faculty, and staff in meaningful participation.
Highlights of the Activities:
12th August 2025 – Poster Making Competition
The campaign began with a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga”. Students showcased their creativity through vibrant and thought-provoking posters depicting the pride of the national flag and the importance of unity and cleanliness. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, and the posters were later displayed across the campus to spread the message.
14th August 2025 – Awareness Session & Cultural Events
On 14th August, the Institute invited Mr. Sachin Avadh, Mumbai Police, as a Guest Speaker. He conducted an Awareness Session on cybercrime for students, faculty, and staff. The session proved to be highly informative and sensitized the audience about safe digital practices and preventive measures against online fraud.
Following the session, a Cultural Program was organized by students to celebrate the spirit of Independence. The highlights included patriotic songs, dances, and a Nukkad Natak on the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga: Har Ghar Swachhata”. The street play effectively conveyed the dual message of national pride and the importance of cleanliness in society.
15th August 2025 – Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The celebrations culminated on 15th August with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony on campus. The National Flag was hoisted in the presence of the Director, faculty members, staff, and students. The event was marked by the singing of the National Anthem and a collective pledge to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and responsibility towards the nation.
The week-long Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management was a blend of creativity, awareness, cultural pride, and patriotic fervor. Through poster making, awareness sessions, cultural programs, and the flag hoisting ceremony, the campaign successfully engaged the academic community in celebrating India’s independence while reinforcing values of responsibility, cleanliness, and national unity.
