World Environment Day 2025–Activities and Initiatives on the Theme “End Plastic Pollution

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Managemente actively participated in the global campaign with the theme “End Plastic Pollution.” A series of impactful activities and initiatives were organized with the objective of raising awareness, educating students and staff, and encouraging sustainable practices aimed at reducing plastic waste on campus and in the community.

1.Documentary screenings on plastic pollution

As part of the World Environment Day 2025 observance on the theme “End Plastic Pollution,” the institute organized documentary screenings aimed at educating and inspiring students through powerful visual storytelling. Carefully selected award-winning documentaries were screened in the seminar hall throughout the week.

2.Art & Poster making

Creative expression was encouraged through art and poster-making on the theme “End Plastic Pollution.”

3. Plastic-Free Campus” Pledge.

All students and staff took a pledge to reduce, reuse, and refuse single-use plastics.  

Through these collective efforts, our college reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability and contributed meaningfully to the global goal of eliminating plastic pollution. The enthusiastic participation and tangible outcomes of the program serve as a strong foundation for ongoing and future green initiatives.
