International Research Conference 2025

The theme of the Conference was ‘Beyond Border Strategies: Challenges & Opportunities’. It is an active platform aimed at investigating the intricacies and potential of international business growth. As the world is becoming increasingly interconnected, companies have to contend with cross-border issues like cultural variations, regulatory requirements, financial risks, and operational challenges while tapping into opportunities in emerging markets. This Conference helped to bring professionals from various disciplines—Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Management, and Legal — to share ideas on how to successfully extend business operations overseas. Participants were informed about global talent recruitment, international brand management, fintech innovation, supply chain vulnerability, and cross-border trade legalities. Through insightful discussions, the Conference tried to provide businesses, professionals, and future entrepreneurs with the tools to succeed in an ever more interconnected economy.

The Conference was held on 21st and 22nd March 2025 at LLIM, Mumbai. On the first day, the registration of delegates and participants was done from 2 pm to 2.30 pm. This was followed by the inaugural session consisting of lighting of the lamp, reciting Saraswati Vandana, singing the National anthem and Maharashtra Geet. The keynote address was given by Mr. Staford Rodrigues, Chief Data Officer –This Is Flow, Sydney. This was followed by the address by Dr. Prema Mahale, Associate Dean-Operations (MMS), VESIMSR. The next session was conducted by Mr. Anish Vyas, Asst. Manager, Research and Index Administration, MCX. The last session for the day was addressed by Mr. Karan Khanna, Director-Marketing – Sidra Health Care, Dubai. The day concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Kavita Patil.

 

The second day of the Conference i.e. 22nd March 2025 started with registration of the delegates and participants at 9.30 am. This was followed by the online and offline paper presentations. There were 2 panels for online presentations and 2 panels for the offline presentations. These presentations were completed by 1 pm followed by lunch. After lunch, there was an interesting session by Mr. Atit Koirala, Director – Strategic Alliance, DPU. This was followed by the session by Mr. Sameer Nanjangud, Marketing Lead – India, Middle East and Africa, Lubrizol. This was followed by a plenary session moderated by Dr. Kinnarry Thakkar, Professor, Department of Commerce, University of Mumbai. This was followed by the valedictory session where all the presenters were given certificates and the best presentation was announced. This was followed by high tea.
