The session was dedicated to developing effective HR Talent skills. It evaluated the students’ favourite organisation with their strategies to increase the organisation’s ‘Employer branding & employee value propositions’ offered, to enhance the knowledge related to the personal and professional growth of the participants.

The session started with welcoming the participants and briefing the elements of evaluation of their presentation skills. They included Concept relevance (5 points),           HR clarity (5 points),            HR depth (5 points),    Practicality (5 points) and           Presentation quality (5 points), totalling to a score of 20 points. There was a detailed talk about the objective of the event to inculcate HR knowledge among incumbents. The faculty emphasised that winning is as important as participation. The excitement was palpable and communicated itself to the crowd.

Then, 4 groups with 3 members each and 1 group of 1 member presented their Employer Branding Presentation Analysis. L&T, Wipro, HDFC Bank and JP Morgan & Chase Co. were the companies discussed at length by the enthusiastic participants.

Various aspects of employer branding were discussed, including employee value propositions for each of the firms. The presentations were followed by a faculty observation session. Dr. Mrs. Merlyn Michael D’souza and Dr. Deepakshi Jaiswal were the eminent faulty judges along with a brief interlude Session by HOD-HR, Dr. S. Suvarna. Students raved about their chosen companies’ employer branding intiatives like Hybrid work, Mental health support, Flexi-benefit plans, Employee assistance programs and Comprehensive family health insurance and EVPs like A Spirit of Innovation, Caring, and Global Collaboration.

Aspects of Internal newsletters, Town-halls across project sites were also discussed. The participants also suggested ways to dispel low morale episodes in their firms.

Upon completion of the session, the participants were able to design their own EVP statements. The participants especially enjoyed the brief role-playing on how employers communicated their employee value propositions to new employees.

Various e-certificates were distributed to the attendees upon conclusion of the program.  Winners were given special certificates to acknowledge the two best teams that will qualify to the 2nd round with inter-collegiate participants
