The guest speaker Mr. Rituraj Bidwai, in his lecture, talked about the daily life interactions that people have on a digital platform and on a physical one and explained how people are connected and surrounded by the technological ecosystem and how we use it to our enhancement.

 

He spoke about the critical aspects which are essential for a digital marketeer and explained this with the help of real-time examples of audience data, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Analytics, HotJar, SEMrush, and PageSpeed Insights, etc. The segregation of party data i.e. First Party, Second Party, and third-party data, and how and when to use that data with reference to the source, use, data quality, and target reach was also covered.

 

The speaker elaborated on the importance of data science and how the same can be implemented. He also spoke regarding various free Digital marketing courses which students can opt for during their curriculum to enhance their knowledge. The final part of the session was dedicated to solving of students’ doubts.

 

A total of 102 students from 1st Year MMS (Sem II) were present in the lecture.
