Marketing to Millennials – Strategies & Challenges on 16th March, 2019

mrktg march 2019Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM), Mumbai had organized the National Seminar on “Marketing to Millennials – Strategies & Challengeson 16th March, 2019 in the institute auditorium.

The seminar began with dignitaries lighting of the lamp and paying their tribute to Shri. Lala Lajpatraiji. The dignitaries of the inaugural session consisted of Mr. Sunil Swarup – Chief Guest, Dr. V. B. Angadi – Director, LLIM & Dr. Asha Aggarwal- Student Counselor. Dr. Kamalji Gupta, Chairman, LLIM & & Dr. H. J. Bhasin – HOD Marketing & MMS Coordinator could not attend the seminar due to some unavoidable commitments, however, reinforced their support. Director, Dr. V. B. Angadi extended a warm welcome. Dr. Angadi emphasized the relevance of the seminar theme and highlighted the significant growth of the institute over last few years.

In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest of the seminar- Mr. Sunil Swarup – Global Leader at Accenture highlighted different aspects of Millennials generation. In the keynote address, Mr. Ajay Ravindran –Vice President, Lowe Lintas presented some of the amazing facts regarding the formation this age-cohort. In his address, the second keynote speaker, Mr. Rohit Gandhi- National Sales Head, Network 18 highlighted a growing significance of Digital Media. In his address, Mr. Quresh Moochala, Founder & Principal Consultant, Actionesque Consulting discussed the role of digital media and marketing analytics.

Later, the students presented research papers on some of the emerging areas in marketing. The seminar was well attended by nearly 300 delegates. The valedictory session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Deepa Rohit.
