On 5th September 2015 a very renowned and versatile person from the industry,Mr V P Kamath elaborated on the current and emerging trends of the market. He started his session by explaining about few International MNC’s like Boeing, P&G etc and few Indian MNC’s like Tata and Maruti. Mr  Kamath in his limited time explained briefly about various sectors he touched and giving plethora of examples as he continued speaking. The best thing about him was that he connected with the audience and touched on points like Globalization, Innovation, Marketing strategies, and advertising effectiveness and so on.

Being an expert in the Medical field, he explained to the students the rules of OTC drugs in India and abroad. Having given us some of the fine Industry examples, he also shared some of his personal experience with the students. Mr. Kamath also emphasized on the “Go Global Act Local” strategy with examples like Kelloggs, Lacoste, Coca Cola etc.

Be it Aston Martin, Sun Pharma or ICICI bank he, was aware of the strategies and tactics adopted by those companies. That 90 minutes session was a huge add-on to the knowledge of students and professors alike.  We wish from our heart that Mr Kamath would join us for another session in the future.
