Faculty Development Programme

To expose members of faculty to the latest developments in the business & to promote their skills & knowledge, the institute offers sponsorship to the members of faculty for attending national level /state level conferences/seminars /workshops organized by other institutes/universities.
The institute has a strong policy and programme for faculty improvement. There is a proper criteria for deputing our faculty members for various Faculty Development Programmes.

Faculty Development Programme at LLIM of Year 2016

A two days Faculty Development Program on “Advance Approaches and Practices in Management Education” was organized. 

The Institute sponsors the participation of the faculty members, for the Faculty Development Programmes.

Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM) organized a faculty development programme (FDP) on 12th March, 2016, titled ‘RECAPTURING CLASSROOMS THROUGH INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGY.’ To be an effective teacher, one needs to be able to deliver the domain knowledge, using the most suitable pedagogical tools like management games, case studies along with the traditional black board vis-√†-vis power point.

Over 38 faculty members from various graduate & post-graduate institutes participated in the programme.

The speakers on the occasion were

    1. Dr. Anil Sutar- Professor and Associate Dean, School of Research Methodology, Tata Institute of Social Sciences
    2. Dr. R.K. Srivastava - Professor and HOD- Marketing and Research, Govt of Maharashtra’s Sydenham Institute of Management Studies research and Entrepreneurship Education
    3. Prof. ShanonChavhan Roque- Corporate Trainer, Branding & Services Consultant, Academician
    4. Prof. Bharat Nadkarni.

The occasion was also graced by Dr. Kamal Gupta, the chairman & Dr. V.B. Angadi, the director of the institute.
The programme has given the confidence to the teaching fraternity & has motivated them to deliver lectures using contemporary tools and innovative pedagogy.

The organizing committee included Prof. AnushaPatil, Prof. Vikas Sharma, Prof. Ritika Vohra & Prof. Gagan Bhatia, the faculty at LLIM. The program was concluded with valedictory address and distribution of participation certificates by director Dr. Angadi& vote of thanks by Prof. AnushaPatil, the organizing committee member.

Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management: Revolutionizing the Education Industry of Year 2015

A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) not only enables academicians to develop competence in general management and understand recent advances in research but also helps to improve pedagogies, presentation techniques, and behavioural skills to be an effective faculty.

Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM) organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP)  on the 12th of December 2015 which highlighted the Contemporary Issues in Management. More than 30 faculty members from graduation and post-graduation institutions across Mumbai participated in the programme and were addressed by eminent industry experts from the fields of marketing, finance, human resource and operations management.

The expert speakers that graced the occasion were:
